General Meetings
SUDS holds its General Meetings (GM) for all members fortnightly on Wednesdays at 1pm in the Cellar Theatre. Beginning in week one of the university semester and every second week from then on.
General Meetings are where the SUDS membership decides what productions are to be performed and how the society’s money is to be spent.
SUDS is a theatre collective which means that all decisions are made democratically by the membership. This is different to most other University Dramatic Societies where the Executive committee decides on all proposals. This means that your opinions count, you have the opportunity to have a say about the way that SUDS operates and the direction SUDS is heading.
Any member can and is encouraged to speak at the General Meeting. Meetings are also a great opportunity to remain up to date with SUDS, meet new people and get involved.
Executive Meetings
The executive committee meetings are held every other Wednesday at 1pm in the cellar theatre. They are open to all members from week two of the semester onwards.
Annual General Meeting
SUDS holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the end of the University year where the members of the executive committee for the next year are elected.
